Collaborate on architecture designs before publishing them.

Generate

Before you can begin working on an architecture design, it must first be generated from an image or document. To learn more about this process, see Generate.

Architecture Design Review

After an architecture design is generated, it must be reviewed before the team can view insights or begin collaboration.

If any of the review requirements are not met, you may reject the architecture. Rejected architectures are automatically deleted from the Designs page.

Architecture Design Insights

To view architecture design insights, go to the Designs page, select an architecture, and open the Insights panel. The architecture design review must be completed before you can access insights.

Architecture Insights help cloud architects design secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructures by applying the pillars of the AWS and Azure Well-Architected Frameworks. Learn more about pillars in Insights.

Additionally, insights can be enhanced with uploaded company documents. Learn more about uploading documents in Documents.

Workflow

Architecture designs progress through a structured workflow that ensures quality, collaboration, and accuracy at every stage. The workflow consists of the following phases:

  1. Review: Assess the generated architecture before collaboration begins.
  2. Insights: Use insights to refine and improve the architecture design.
  3. Approval: Approve the finalized architecture design (feature not yet released).

Delete Architecture Design

  1. In the Dawnguard app, go to Designs.
  2. In the table, hover over the architecture design you want to delete and click the menu button.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select Delete.
  4. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete to confirm.
